CASTLE MARION POLICIES & HOUSE MANUAL

RULES

1. ** $25 ADDITIONAL GUEST FEE:**  - There is a $25 charge per night for each guest beyond 10 people.

 

2. **NO SHOES:**  - Please remove your shoes outside the front door to keep our living space clean. A $500 cleaning fee will be charged for any traces of shoes inside. Feel free to bring your slippers or use the disposable ones we provide. 

 

3. **OCCUPANCY:** - This house can have a maximum of 18 people staying overnight, but up to 45 people are allowed to enter simultaneously.

 

4. **VISITORS, INVITEES** - Please get approval before inviting visitors, including children aged two and above. The visitor (invitee) fee is $25 per person per visit, and a maximum of 15 people are allowed daily. 

Staying without paying the visitor fee will result in a penalty fee of $100 per person per stay.

Temporary visitors, like delivery drivers, are exempt from the visitor fee for only 30 minutes.

 

It is the host's basic responsibility as required by the rental platform company to determine the exact number of guests and visitors, and it is an important matter related to insurance coverage for injuries of guests and visitors, damage to items, or loss of guest belongings that may occur during the guest's or visitor's stay.

 

If a guest wants to invite a small group of friends or relatives for a simple gathering, such as dinner, please contact the host in advance. REASONABLE COMPROMISE IS POSSIBLE. 

 

5. **NO PET(S):** - Pets are not allowed, except for service animals. If you plan to bring a service animal, please inform me in advance. A $500 cleaning fee will be charged for undisclosed pets. 

 

6. **NO SMOKING:** - To ensure the comfort of all our guests, we kindly request that you refrain from smoking anywhere on the property, except in the designated smoking section on one side of the balcony. Please be aware that a $500 fee will be charged for any discovered traces of smoking. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation. Thank you.

 

7. **NOISES:** - To ensure the safety of guests and protect property, following the rental platform's party policy, excessively disorderly and unrestricted gatherings and noisy parties are prohibited.

 

There is no problem with playing loud music inside the house as it is well soundproofed. However, please ensure that parties with loud music on the balcony or in the yard.

 

8. **FIRE:** - Flammable items, including candles and fireworks, are prohibited inside or outside the house. Fire-hazard cooking utensils are not permitted also. However, a propane gas grill can be rented for $60 per stay; please notify us a day before check-in if you wish to rent one. Personal cooking utensils brought by guests, such as charcoal, gas burners, and gas grills are not allowed in the house or on the balcony. Please use them in the designated fire pit area. 

 

9. **CAMERA:** - To enhance safety and protect our property, there are six security cameras installed outside. There are no cameras or recording devices inside the home.

 

10. **LIABILITY:** -  The host/owner is not liable for any loss or damage to guests or their property, inconveniences, damages, losses, misuses, or injuries. The host/owner is not responsible for temporary defects like water, electricity, or internet interruptions due to weather conditions or natural disasters. Efforts will be made to restore amenities promptly. All incidents, accidents, injuries, etc., inside and outside the property are the responsibility of each individual, and the host/owner is not accountable. Airbnb, Vrbo Guest Protection Program compensates for injury, loss, or theft to guests during their stay.

 

11. **CHILDREN:** - If children are with you during your stay, you are fully responsible for their safety, including their use of and access to various areas. No lifeguards or helpers are on duty, and guests are solely responsible for supervising their children at all times.

 

12. **REPELLENT:** - Due to Florida's weather, insects like bees, ants, and mosquitoes, as well as wild animals, may be present. Avoid approaching or feeding them, and use mosquito repellent when outdoors.

The bar sink cabinet drawer contains mosquito bug repellent spray, ThermaCell repellent, itching cream, and a First Aid box. Please utilize these items as needed.

 

13. **CLEANING:** - If you notice any damage or cleanliness issues upon arrival, please inform the host promptly. If there is no contact within 90 minutes of arrival, the host will assume you are satisfied with the property's condition.

 

14. **INSECTS AND OTHER CREATURES:** - While we maintain high standards of cleanliness and disinfection, it's important to note that insects and pests are naturally occurring in Florida. Despite our efforts, they may occasionally appear inside the homes, especially when doors are opened.

 

15. **REPAIR:** - In case of an unexpected breakdown during your stay, a serviceman may visit for repairs after providing prior notice.

 

16. **EVICTION:** - Please comply with the above rules to avoid eviction without a refund.

 

17. **EARLY CHECK-IN ** - Early check-in or late checkout may be possible for an additional fee, subject to property schedule availability ($65 per hour).

 

18. **MAX 10** - Max 18 People on the dock - (Children must have adult supervision) 

 

19. **MAX 18** - Max 18 People on the balcony(deck) (Children must have adult supervision) 

20. **FURNITURE** - Do not move furniture such as chairs, sofas, or tables. If you need to move them, ask permission first.
 

Make a reservation, the guest acknowledges having read and agreed to the above policy. Unexplained policy aspects will follow the regulations of the rental platform company.

If the host and guest build trust through conversation and reach a mutually satisfactory agreement, there is no need for excessively strict application of rules.”
